When will Design Museum Brussels reopen its doors? 
  • The museum will open again on Thursday May 21.
Has the program been adjusted? Which exhibitions can I visit in the museum?

There are currently three exhibitions in the museum:

  1. Plastic Design Collection, our permanent collection.
  2. Standing Stones, extended until 17.01.2021.
Which measures should I take during my visit? 

In order to ensure a safe and pleasant visit for everyone, we ask visitors to observe the following measures:

  • We will introduce a quota per hour (200 per hour) to spread the number of visitors safely throughout the day. If you buy a ticket online, you will be asked to choose a timeslot. You can start your visit up to one hour after this. Please respect your chosen timeslot.
  • We recommend you to buy your tickets online in advance.
  • one-way circuit through the museum will be outlined. Please stick to the trail.
  • Inside the museum, the rules of physical distancing should be applied. We therefore ask visitors to keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres.
  • Visitors can use the lockers in the cloakroom. These are always disinfected after use. We prefer to ask the visitors not to bring backpacks, if so they can use the lockers.
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory, if you do not have a mask, free disposable masks are offered.
  • People who live in the same household may visit the exhibition together.
What are the entrance fees and how can I buy my ticket?
  • The prices of the tickets can be found at the bottom of this page.
  • Tickets can be purchased online via the button at the top of this page or directly at the museum.
  • You do not have to print your e-ticket, bring it 'digitally' on your smartphone. 
I own a museumPASSmusées or a BrusselsCard. What should I do?
  • We accept the museumPASSmusées and BrusselsCard.
  • U can buy and/or renew your museumPASSmusées at the ticketing office of the museum.
Is the museum accessible to people with reduced mobility?
  • Thanks to the newly installed lift, as well as its access ramp and the choice to leave out any architectural barriers, the museum makes the visit accessible to all visitors with reduced mobility. Please announce your visit by mail or phone: +32 2 669 49 29.
Is it possible to book a guided visit or a group visit?
  • It is possible to book a guided tour or a visit in group. Please contact us by mail or on the number 02 669 49 21 for more information.
Is the museum shop open?
  • The museum shop is open again.
 Additional Measures
  • Public sanitary and other sensitive places (handles, doors) are cleaned on a regular basis.
  • Plexiglass has been placed at the reception to avoid contact between the visitors and the reception staff.
  • We ask visitors to use the available hand gel at the reception to disinfect their hands.
  • All activities for individual visitors are suspended until further notice. Group reservations are also not possible until further notice.
What else can I do? 

Protect yourself and others:

  • Stay at home, especially if you're sick.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres when you are outside.
  • Limit your physical social contacts.
  • Wear a mouth mask on public transport and in busy public spaces.
  • Use a new paper handkerchief each time and throw it away in a closed garbage can.
  • No handkerchief? cough or sneeze on the inside of your elbow.

During the Belgian school holidays, we will be op 7 days a week, more specifically from 2/11/2020 - 9/11/2020 included and from 21/12/2020 till 4/01/2020 included.

The Design Museum Brussels is located in the Northern part of the city of Brussels, right opposite Hall 5 from the Heysel exhibition park and 150m from the Atomium.
