In the aftermath of the Second World War, the development of a typically British counter culture heralded the emergence of a spirit of revolt which had materialized twenty years later with the punk movement.
From the Swinging Sixties to the DIY ethics, this lecture aims to provide a modest historical perspective on these two decades of counter culturel creation.
Pierre Arese is an art historian in charge of the public at ISELP. He is also a teacher of history and art at ESA Saint-Luc, Brussels.
